are you on a UK based server? what ahve you done recently? moved server? Try seraching using meta search engines www.searchy.co.uk and www.searchy.com . Occasionally the SE's change their results to tailor them to a percentage of the people who view them. You could still have it?

Assuming the shake up was the same for the UK index, then you may be looking at a robots, spam, or validation issue. He's what I found in all my logs...

Slurp came in grabbed the robots.txt, the verification key, and one or two page one some and none on others. This looks to have been some sort of verification crawl for the new Slurp. Mind you I ca only speak for the sites in my server and 3 not in my server that I do work for so 11 sites.

I know one guy was dropped from any searched terms, except is full URL...upon investigation we found an empty sitemap and no robots.txt, and a very spammy looking site. Mind you the site contained no spam, but in spider view that is exactly how it appeared...very high links and very low text.

If you haven't authenticated your site with Yahoo Site explorer and submitted a sitemap and any feeds you have, now is a good time.

I don't think there has to be any extra effort made to be incuded in the UK index, as I checked one of my sites that is clearly US but very popular and it's position is the same in both indexes.

If you are allowing specific bots in your robots.txt you need to update it, slurp changed its protocol and ip.
Good Luck
