Backlinks I take it are links on other sites back to mine, are they more important than keywords and content to get ranking.
Also can anyone enlighten me, I am ranked top 10 with MSN, Lycos, All The Web and a few others but with Yahoo knowwhere in top 100. Submitted site months ago and then sitemap to yahoo 3weeks ago, but no difference.

All of these things are important when it comes to doing SEO.
One of the reasons you don't see results across all search engines is because they all update differently. Seems to me that Yahoo is the slowest..

I read that article and it was great, tydied up the site, did wat he suggestedf. I am happy now, I'll see what the search engines think of it now - probably nothing but try - try - try again
