Yahoo site explorer is the resource I use for a quick backlink check. However today I noticed a change in the number of links Site Explorer will report on; approx 50% of links don't show. Same applies to site index, most of the site pages are not reported on.

To confirm, I checked 6 or so sites, same result; 50% or more links no longer displaying, well over 50% of the pages not 'indexed'. I haven't seen this before at Yahoo.

Has anyone else noticed the change yet? I'm wondering if this is just an algo burp...

Probably a prelude to them disabling it completely, just as MSN did about three years ago.
