In case you didn't know already, Yahoo! announced this week that they will no longer offer paid inclusion ( SSP - Search Submit Basic and Search Submit Pro) after the end of the year. I'm sure this is in preparation for Bing taking over their organic results.
SSP has always been controversial since participating in the program gave a huge ranking boost in the organic SERPs to participating sites for the keywords they are targeting. Nice to see them eliminate a way that sites could "buy" rankings (although our company spent 10s of thousands per month participating). It did provide a good ROI for us, but I don't think paid inclusion has a place in organic search.
