Yahoo announced the first Search Index Update for 2008. According to Sharad Verma from Yahoo Search, Yahoo has been rolling out some changes to their crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms over the last few days. He also told that update will be completed soon and as a result people may see some ranking changes and page shuffling in the index.
