This is the first time I've used frames and I'm having a couple little issues. The guy that I'm doing this site for insisted that he had to have a site where the navbar didn't move if you did any scrolling. As far as I know, the only way to accomplish that is with frames, right?

http://www.digitalwebpros.com/myles/

First, when the content of the main frame requires scrolling down, the horizontal scroll bar also appears to compensate for the added size of the vertical scroller. For some reason, no matter how much i play with sizes and use tables to help out, I can't get the **** horizontal slider to keep out.

The other issue is when I resize the window to a very small size, i can't seem to lock in a minimum size on the top frame and the header sorta slides into itself (kinda hard to describe, just try it and you'll see what i mean). I suppose I may be able to change the frames around so that the vertical frames are nested inside the horizontal one, but is there an easier way than that?

Any help is always appreciated.

hi, this is probably no help but have u tried <div> </div> tags instead? its much easier. You could also use iframes instead. It is much easier.

I've never heard of iFrames... guess I'll have to check that out.
(EDIT
Ok, so i checked out the whole iFrame thing and that sounds like it would be alot easier... except, i'm having trouble finding out if they're an available tool from inside DW or if I'm gonna have to to some coding to get em in there.

As far as using div tags, i guess i didn't know they could be used to accomplish this.. although maybe I don't really know what they ARE normally used for. Any recommendations on a good resource specifically for this kind of application?
