Looking to buy webmaster related sites

not sure if this is the correct room to make this post - could a mod move it if it incorrect

im looking for a few webmaster related sites to add to my network

I dont care about traffic or the domain name - its the content im interested in.

Not looking to spend to much but im willing to spend up to $500.00 if needs be - though if i can get 2 sites for this ill be a happy webmaster

im looking more for a content/information based site that a link directory or whatever

Not be an *** .. but I have seen you buy and sell sites with a turnover that is quit startling.

There is always some venture going on, or some requirement of money .. prop up a webmaster site, build it with potential, and then sell it off.

How would a webmaster who has worked hard on a website know that you will be actually taking care of it and not just selling it off like all your other assets?

yes there is always a requirement of money - im going travelling for two years and i leave in 2 months and it aint cheap

also - your right - all sites i own have the potential to be sold in the next year or so because if i run out of money which is quite possible i wont think twice about selling it

personally though, if the seller is going to be bothered by what happens to the site after he sells it then put simply - he shouldnt be selling it

ive spent a lot of time building sites myself but once its sold - its sold - it isnt mine anymore and good luck to whoever owns it

whilst i always do my best to ensure the site goes to a good owner, there is nothing a seller can do once the transaction has taken place

bottom line - if you are going to lose a lot of sleep over selling your site then dont sell to me because potentially it will be sold in the next two years.

none
all sites i have ever designed (with the exception of once using vbportal) are designed on notepad or text pad - ie. plain text editors
