Actually I have another site, an automotive performance tuning forum which uses the same business model as the cell phone & pda forum.

I might be willing to part with the automotive forum for $10k. The automotive forum is only a month old but has already got high quality content (posts) within it, is 100% search engine optimized, spider-friendly; and has some search engine traffic. The domain has zero PR right now but I can boost it to PR7 with links from my other web properties and guarantee that those links stay in place for 1 year. In fact the links I have set to point to it within the last 3 weeks will push it to PR6 in the next PR update.

barleduc, I'm selling because I build these sites for a living. I sit at home and crank one of these forum sites out every month. Once they have a profitable track record I begin to look for a buyer. If I kept them I'd be hard pressed for time to maintain them all, although the maintenance of a single forum site of this caliber is minimal (3-4 hours a month).

These sites are true revenue generating locomotives. After you get them rolling and completely optimized for the search engines you'd be hard pressed to find them slowing down.

Couple things I forgot to mention...

If you zip over to google and search for cell phones you'll find the cell phone forum is ranked in the top 20 with over 8 million competing pages.

Same for the term cell phone reviews ...ranked in the top 20 with over 4 million competing pages.

Same for the term cell phone plans ...ranked in the top 10 with over 4 million competing pages.

I could go on... there are so far this month 29080 different keyphrases that this site is taking traffic from the engines with.

In the past day or so I've had a couple of peeps from this thread ask me privately if I'd be open to a deposit + payment plan to purchase these sites.

The answer is "maybe", depending on your answers to the following questions: I'd want to know what kind of terms were you thinking about? How much upfront would you be willing to lay down? How long a term were you thinking for paying off the remaining balance? If I did agree to payment plan of some sort I would want to retain ownership of the domain and I would want the site to remain hosted on my machine. You would have full unrestricted control over and access to the site via ftp or ssh2 though. After the site is paid off I would immediately transfer the site and domain ownership over to you.

So if you come to me with that question please have ready answers to my questions to speed up the decision process on my end.
