Name: Nathan Williams
URL: www.ninside.com
Age of site: 4 months
Hits: 1,500 Uniques / Month (based on average)
5,000 Page Views / Month (based on average)
Income: We recieve some money from ads, but we make most of our money from the free games we recieve from publishers.
Developers: Ninside has a few members of staff, some more dedicated than others, but they all get the job done and for free which is always good.
Time Required: You will have to write some content / news articles, and upload other staff members content
Running Costs: £5 / Month, $9.14 / month
Reason for selling: Well I have developed Ninside from the beginning, and unfortunatly I have been really busy lately and will be for some time, and I don't want to see the website die, so I am selling it so someone else can put the site to good use and to keep it alive.
Will you help with the transition of the site to the new owner?
Absolutly
What all does the site include?
+ All content contained on Ninside
+ The current design
+ The domain name (expires February 2006)
+ All MySQL Databases (for scripts)
+ Complete ownership of all images in the gallery.
+ Basically everything on the server
+ A Months FREE hosting (if required) (contact me for hosting details)

Asking price: Well I have a current bid for Ninside as $200 so I guess I'll start the bidding at $200.

Does it include the arcade, forums, etc?
Could you give more detail about how you get the free games from the publishers?
I noticed you posted the costs in pounds, where is the site hosted? Where it the domain from?
Do you have any ranked keywords, or does your traffic come from affiliates?

Yep the offer gives you everything you see on the website, and everything on the server.

Well with gaming websites you sign-up to publishers press release sites, and they e-mail you information from the gaming world. And you get noticed by the publishers and they offer you free games to review for the website, and then they will send them out, or you could ring them and state who you are and what website, and request a game to review, its pretty simple.

Yes I posted it in pounds (£) but also i posted the amount in USD next to it ($9.14), this is the monthly cost for hosting, you could pay yearly and then it will be like paying for 10months of hosting with 2 free months of hosting, it works out cheaper. We are currently hosted at http://www.leeds-design.com; hosting plan number 3. They offer great support when required. The domain name is hosted at www.123-reg.com they offer a great admin panel to sort out the DNS settings, etc... But if you wanted you could change to a different company for the domain.

What do you mean by "ranked keywords"; if you mean are you submitted to any search engines, then the answer is yes, when we bought the domain name (ninside.com) we could submit the website to various different popular search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc.. And we also get quite a few hits recieved from our affiliates which are listed on the website.

Thanks for taking interest

I have just recieved a bid of $225

Jeez... this is a nice site and a nice price... I cant decide if I want it...lol...

Problem is... I aren't much of a nintendo fan... where would I get the content for the site? You said that you can get some information sent to you as an owner of the site? I am interested because I already have 2 sites targeted at young people and this would be a good adition to my network...

BTW... as a user, if I wanted to look for a review of some game, the only way I can see is clicking on those tiny numbers at the botttom of the site and looking at many pages until I find what I want, isn't there some kind of search option to look for a specific review?

Nope, sorry there is no search facility implemented into the site, I was going to install a CMS but I have been too busy lately. If you were to use a CMS, they usually have search features on them so you could always use a CMS.

Pitty you don't have a search function, it would be a real pain for a user to find something in your site, I would of made a nice bid if there was a search function.

Well they are easily implemented, you could create your own search script, or you could use a CMS (content management system) which usually have search functions on them, there are quite a few good free CMS's available also, which are easy to install and use (speaking from past experience). Also there are no numbers at the bottom of the reviews page, just at the bottom of the news, this is so that it only shows the most recent gaming news, and doesnt keep the page from stretching too far. An I am unsure about this statement, but I think there may be a search facility available with the news management script that is installed on the site.

And also, Its only the news which has the little numbers at the bottom, the reviews are sorted by console and into alphabetical order, so its easy to the visitor to locate which item of content they wish to view, and the previews are newest to oldest (newest at the top). So they are quite easy to locate what you want without a search facility.

Sorry for the double posting AGAIN

And with a starting bid of US $911.53!! LMAO!!! I wouldn't of paid $200 for it without a decent search function built in.

Spida, I don't know if Ebay has an option to modify your starting bid. If not, I think you should better cancel the auction and start it over again, high initial bid prices tend to scare people away, if you start with a low bid amount, you will start getting lots of bids, and people always look at auctions that are receiving many bids.

Wish you good luck...

I think I'll just cancel it anyways, when I said advertise I didnt mean on ebay lol but good news i may be introducing a search facility as you wanted depending on what you would be offering if the site did have a search facility
