Hi everybody,
After many years of running my forum, I think it's time to move on.
The site is for Pontiac Bonneville enthusiasts. It features an active forum (over 1,000,000 posts and almost 10k registered members) and an extensive technical information library. I've been running it as a hobby for these past seven years, but I am beginning to lose interest and think that the forum might do even better in somebody else's hands. I haven't concentrated much on monetizing the site, as my only goal has been to cover the server costs. I think there's a lot of potential here.
1. I'm Jeff. Hi!
2. The site is at
www.bonnevilleclub.com
3. The site is just over 6 years old
4. About 800k pageviews/month, with about 15k uniques/mo making about 50k visits/mo (all according to GA). PR3. ~14k indexed pages.
5. Some AdSense on the site, but I haven't monetized it very aggressively, so there's probably still a lot of potential. Range between $100-$250/mo.
6. The users and volunteer staff generate all of the content. I do the back-end administration, which has been minimal.
7. It's currently served using part of a dedicated server, so exact figures are hard to come by, but I think it could be hosted for <$100/mo.
8. My involvement has been waning, so I'm ready to move on.
9. Yes, I'll help with the transition
10. No newsletter, but there are almost 10k users registered on the forum.
11. Included is everything to make the site work: code, content, design, etc.
12. I'm not sure where to even begin on price, but I'm definitely open to offers.
PM me with any questions. Thanks!
