Hello,

Looking for some advice.

run two forums, www.thebeatlesforum.com and www.grungemusicforum.com.

The Grunge one is coming along nicely but the Beatles one isn't and hasn't been for a bit...I know it's only month and half old but I've tried money advertising (There's a link on www.musicfanlinks.com), also tried affiltating with a couple of sites (As your see on the main page) and it's Google PR is 4 I think (Or least I'm told as i don't know too much about that sort of thing)

Bearing all that in mind, if I was going to sell it, what would I ask for?? It makes no money from the Google ads obviously yet, as i said above it's got ads in places and now I am more concered with my Grunge forum so maybe the Beatles one just needs someone more enthuastic to get it going.

About 6 of the accounts on the forum are ones created by me that I did to get the forum going so it wasn't empty and whenever someone doesn't post in a day I post with them so it looks like people are posting, which is all I have pretty much been doing recently unfortunetly.

The domain is also a very good domain and the hosting is $3 a month for 15gb BW and 150mb space i think, never been with a better host BTW, that's up for renewal around the 23rd I think.

Or if anyone has other ideas on getting it going or something, LMK.

Thnx

  5. How does the site generate income? How much? - None yet
  6. Who develops content and administers the site? How much time does it require? - Just me and doesn't require much time once people get posting, but getting the forum going will require time
  7. What is the monthly cost of running the site? - Hosting is $3 a month and that's it.
  8. Reason for selling? - Lost interest in this forum and want to concentrate my time on my Grunge forum
  9. Will you help with the transition of the site to the new owner? - Yep, anything they need
  10. Does the site have an ezine or newsletter? Number of subscribers? - Nope

Thanks for reading the rules. Please use the posted format for selling the site.

If you decide that you're not going to sell the site, please let me know so I can close this thread.

I'm not quite certain what a good price is; however, I'd potentially be interested in the website if you do decide to sell it.
