Hi guys! just thought of posting my new blog here entitled Great Movies and TV shows on DVD and i want you to make some suggestions and have a review on it! thanks!

It works. I'm not sure why you have the sparkles on the video sets though.

I put them to become more attractive.. Is there a problem with that sparkle thing?

Hi dee el07,
I'd have to say, loose the sparkle things. And your advertising what is on the page already? Now in order to promote allot of directories don't take sub domains. I don't, unless something one slip by, or non-profit.
The theme is great! I'd rather watch the oldies than most of the new stuff out. The reviews were lengthy, not just here's this. (content)

Just a thought; you could implement a searcher which would search only your site for films etc. or both your site and google directories...so good luck whatever you have chosen !

Hi! I like films, i know when i watch a film and when i watch a "film"...i am starting to believe that people come on to your page to look for reviews and just few of them are going to look for your personality, don't know is it a must at blogspot but generally...i sometimes love to use this expression when running onto some good things like on example Your site

I would get my own domain.

The best part of that site was finding that they had Night Stalker out on DVD. I never got to watch all the shows, my mom and dad made me stop watching them because I would have nightmares after watching it. That show used to scare the crap out of me, but I kept watching!

Yes, I agree with others. Get your own domain. I like the idea behind the blog. Unlike others, I actually like the sparkles. It reminds me of those old 50's commericals where the products they were selling (in cartoon form) would sparkle like that... The blog colors, however, seem a tiny bit drab to me.

Actually I'm planning to get my own domain soon.But before that, maybe i need to work on to my designs and have more content.But anyway, Thanks for the nice comments guys! really appreciate it a lot..

The domain thing is more link partners will take the site more seriously if you have a domain, and you can pick, wordpress, or other free templates. transfer your content...Now you have a real site, not that it not, but it's not.
you can get a domain at godaddy sometimes for $0.99. Don't worry about com,net,info,org They all mean the same thing today. try for a .com
Stay away from xxx-xx.com did a quick check dvdoldies.us /.org something else is available. just a thought

I don't quite agree with that sentiment. People whom are not that internet savvy often think ALL websites end in .com and if a visitor remembers only part of your domain name many will automatically try .com first... Personally, I have barely ever even been to a .info domain and I think it would be harder for folks who didn't bookmark to remember.

The best would be a name people will remember, something catchy, in a .com hands down

Good overall work. However I did not like the black background. Your header image is ok. like the idea of your blog and those sparkles as well. You still need some graphics rework.
