www.htportal.org is my site, its about humor videos from all over the world, i take videos that re funny, interesting or something with topic to my site and add it.

now im creating forum, which is also created but died:

it will be revenue sharing forum just like this, but my problem is that i need categorys and topics, and i have no idea what categorys could fit to my site and if there will be interest of people.

please suggest me interesting categorys and topics that can fit to my site.
check forum and see my current ones and also suggest what i dotn ened and what i need.

please if you dont want to suggest me topics, can you please then review my site?

For me, the site is hard on my eyes at times. A lot of the text seems to just blend together. Try experimenting with the contrast of the page.

There is plenty of content. I like that. It seems like you should get a lot of repeat visitors if this content is updated and more is added each week. I don't like the big part of ads on the front page. They take up most of the page when it first loads in my browser. You could try splitting these up evenly around the page.

i totally agree for the ads but im not sure which ads to use, i mean what width or height. some are smaller some too big.... cant decide...

this site isn't too bad but could do with the odd tweaking here and there such as changing the banner because that really does look awful the colour scheme looks nice but text and the colours chosen on site look hard on the eyes also i don't think the google ads should be centerpoint of the page also with google ads in the center and the moving animation it looks a lot like at spam site and i don't think that's the look your trying portray. overall its a decent site with some very funny jokes on best of look with this site hope it works out for you

I am using Safari and on the left side of your page there are tiny website preview icons. These take up 50% of the webpage and it's VERY distracting. No conent is below these icons, just white space.

Well first the banner looks a little outdated in todays work try sprusing it up a little into the web 2.0 era my opinoin.

The navigation bar below the banner is off center and makes the site look not professionly done. Try centering it!

Other than that i like the colours

Well, I think the design is alright, but coming from a first time user... theres so much content on that home portal, I'm not even sure exactly where to go. I get the feel its a directory for entertaining content...

Advert's are somewhat obtrusive though... like on the videos page.
