Here's some more thoughts for you. (I don't know, but you may have made some changes since your initial post.)
Some people argue that a design company must have used all the latest design "bells and whistles" with their site. However, I don't think you need to show off all your skills on one site and that the site does need to show examples (portfolio) of what they have done and possibly what they can do. That said, I think the simplicity of this site is not a minus, but a plus.
The appearance is good. I prefer sites that have a logo of some type and suggest that you add a logo. However, a logo may not go with the top header layout that you have now.
The services page may look better and draw more attention if the service listed had a short description or a sentence to draw attention to the service rather than just the link.
For example, Under virus protection, you could add "How would your business cope if all of your main computer systems were infected with a virus?" which is the first statement on that page. That draws attention to the service and may get one to click further into the site.
I think the pics are good, but you may want to use one pic only once within the site to see if that adds to the interest.
Load time is great. I found no problems with the navigation, nor bugs. Your header seems to have navigation, but it is not (virus protection, site management, etc., above the motto). It looks nice, but I suggest making it links. Then you could remove the links (that are not very distinguishable) in the text.
The site does seem to match the intent. I didn't find any grammar/spelling problems, but you do have an unclosed tag ( P> ) on the home page. This may sound "picky", but you have a heading "examples of oweb.co.uk web site designs" on your examples page and the examples listed have "web site" after the names which is not needed. I do like your synopsis of the work for each site and think that's a plus.
I rate the site
7.0. It's a good job but there's still some more to make it better.
Dave
