New Site: Web Elevation

Hello!

I am finally at the point in my web design "career," that I can post an online portfolio without feeling too embarrassed about it!

It is all in Flash, which is just an easier way for me to set up the format and basic template. I plan to make the majority of the site in HTML with some small flash movies throughout the page.

Feel free to pick on any of the sites on the portfolio page too! The UK Alumni site is my newest site which is all in HTML.

I like the beginnings to this site. The graphics are awesome, the load time is great, and your buttons are among the best I have ever seen. I would love to see this site finished, but for now you have a great start. There is really not much else to suggest about this, just don't change a thing, and only add more like you have.

Normally i would slate the site because it is made in pure flash. But I really like it.

Doesn't take too long to load, flash 5 compatable and also makes use of some great graphics.

Very clean and attention to detail very nice. I am not a big fan of flash sites, but this one is just fine.

Cool site. Everything seems to run smoothly. The colours work together well and I love the extra effects on the site.

nice site. why do your pages end with all the blue space at the bottom? it looks like this is intentional because your source has strings of <br><br><br>'s at the end of the page before your name. it looks bad and it makes the site scroll farther than it needs to, and is distracting. one or two lines at the most! i'd just leave one, personally, before your link at the bottom.

needs more content--will look great when you add it. i dont' really have anythign else i noticed right now.

Wow!! I need to say thank you very much for all of your comments! It of course makes me feel even better that so far the comments have all been very nice!

'Yarrgh' - Good call on the space at the bottom of the page. All of those breaks are in there because of the link at the very bottom of the page. I placed that link there to try and help the linked website in the search engines. Now that I am using the Web Elevation website for business I need to get rid of that link! Thank you for your help with remembering that!!!

Again...all comments are more than welcome and as I continue to change the site from all Flash, to HTML & Flash, I'll probably post it again for critiques.

Hi,

I like the layout... Very clean.

But let me give you a sugestion. Make a top bar with the menu and make it allways visible. So when we click on menu options only the main body of the side will load and not the entire site.
