The client says it is not good (I think he is looking to ask me for a discount).
What do you think should be done?

Don't give in,

Did he see a concept design before you completed the site?

It looks good and downloads pretty quickly on my painfully slow 56k modem, so I don't think your client has much of a case!

My only little niggle - the white corners around the "Go" button in the Search section need to be changed to the background colour, and the Courses page is Untitled Document in the header bar.

Hope this helps.

Hi there...very nice site. I agree with Orbitsys, it looks like a template...which to me is an impressive thing!

If I remember right, the download was fine here. I am using basic cable internet set up and it came in very quickly.

The top banner: It looks like a wonderful idea, and please know that I mean this in the best way possible... Whenever I make banners in Paint shop Pro or now in Photoshop, they kind of have the same effect, like I know what I'm going for, but I don't quite get that nice clean effect on my fading parts, etc...

I don't even know how to help, just that the pic of the building in the banner looks like it's not as clean as it could be. I love the layout and everything else though!

One more thing...On 800x600 the site looks perfect. But on 1024x768 the content under the banner is all wider than the banner. I didn't look at the code, but it made me wonder if you used percentages instead of set pixels or something.

Seriously...great site!! Don't let them take your money!!

Reedly.

Hi,

I like it.

I would work a bit more the top bar. The image should go to the end of the bar. It's to sort.

Regards.

the orange bar at the bottom stretches all the way across the screen, but the header doesn't, so on my 1024, it stops halfway, which wouldn't be so bad if it werent that the content below goes out farther than that.

i was going to suggest you keep the content even with the edge of where the header stops, and/or put the whole thing in a table and center it. however, i have decided that it would be better to just make the header stretch all the way across. it will actually look pretty sweet, and you know it will look good, because the orange bar at the bottom already looks good.

headers within the site: they are centered. i think they would look better if they were just indented or even just left aligned. they are a different color and everything so they stand out enough. centering in this case seems awkward and uneven. especially where the header spans two lines.

the underlining looks good, but it violates my policy of never underlinging anything that isn't a link when i can help it. its not too bad in your case--but i'd experiement with italics and bold, or a different typeface.

the image-links on the front (such as under "our courses") are a little small and a little fuzzy on my 1024 screen. i think just making the text a bit more black and less gray will do the job.

there are several links that don't go anywhere, such as two of the three at the top right. i'm sure you are aware of this: but don't forget to fix that.

a bit about the orgainization: you have links at the top, and then "quick" links on the side. some of these go to the same place, some don't. at any rate, i didn't even look at the sidelinks for a while, i thought they were external links, for one, and second, i assumed i could get to every single page on your site through the links at the top. having to follow links from two seperate places is confusing. if the ones on the side can fit under the ones at the top in any way, do that: link to them from within the pages you can get to from the top.

the site *does* use enough images to make some downloads slow, but i don't think its a major problem, since they mostly are resued on the whole site, so you only have to download them once.

last thing: i want something to be under the bllue boxes on the left sidebar. even if its just an empty blue box. i like there to be a consistent section. as it is, it sort of dissapears into the whitespace.

hope you find my comments useful. eat them with plenty of salt.

yarrgh!

Looks excellent to me, very professional.

I would change the copyright info at the bottom, it looks a little unprofessional.
