Music website critique please

Please check out my site. I have a few typos and some areas are not completed yet. Let me know what you like and dislike. Any problems you see. This is a great forum to have. I know music but don't know webpages like you guys and girls. Thanks Todd

I like it. Could you get the popup when you click to enter to appear in the center of the screen? How long does it take to load on dialup? I quite like the dark color scheme...

I still can't figure out why people have their webpages load in pop-ups. If it doesn't serve some technical purpose then don't do it, because it sure doesn't add to the asthetic value of a site.

The copy(text) is very hard to read, both because its all caps, and most of it is on top of some type of image. If you're going to use an image behind a large area of copy you need to make it more subtle. If it's too hard for someone to read, then they aren't going to read it.

Its a good start, but it needs some refining.

If you're going to try and get this site listed in search engines you better change your page titles to something more content specific rather than "welcome to ..." and "main01". Just an after-thought.

I don't know how many people agree with that first statement, but I sure do. I've always taken it as a minus to a site when it uses flash but opens in another window. And there are some that open more windows with each click (I move on when I encounter those).

I agree with the text issue, too.

It looks like a good start!

I really like it. Usually dark websites dont work but this one seems to work well. It doesn't take long to load for me at all. I can't think anything wrong with it offhand

I very much dislike pop up sites. Their is no reason to have a pop up site.

I agree with pop-up windows, they are a turn off for me as well, too much time wasting....but the city night graphics are just beautiful! The download time was quick for the first page, but a long time for the enter page....
