The site is very new. The site is for anyone interested in Hawaii. I run several sites, but started this one because I am now living in Hawaii. The Skin is not custome, but the header is.

I think the headers and sub headers like "recent threads" and "site navigation" are hard to read - they need more contrast. I like the colors on the main page but the background image (beach_bg.gif) doesn't line up correctly and, so, appears choppy. I like the header, but the little "gray wave" overlay is distracting to me.

You have too many shades of brown and they are starting to blend in...I would suggest choosing a well contrasted color and complementing the headers with it.

Although the navigation is very straightforward, I feel like you can definitley make it look better and pop out a little. Maybe use buttons or some css backgrounds...

P.S. The Vertical Thumbs are empty...don't know if that's on purpose or not
