Hi,

We have opened a new 3D galley with the intention to bring artists and endusers together. The gallery features a 3D viewer and it is freely open for everybody. User has the oppurtunity to take the 3D art with them to their own website, blog or portfolio sites using a regular html tag.

We are using Java and OpenGL to ensure that all browsers on all OS can use Madlix.

What do you think? Feedback on both webdesign, usability as well as tech-review on how well the Madlix viewer works for you is appriciated.

For those lazy people who hate typing the URL, here you go: http://www.madlix.com - i found that people are so lazy that if they have to type the url, they don't bother.

Anyway, about the site - looks fab!
One thing though, you need to put somewhere what the site is about, otherwise people will just get really confused.

Hope this helps. Good Luck

I like the simplistic layout of the site.
The site is kind of 90s for my taste.
I don't see any sense in those kind of images for any site created today.
Just reminds me of those old gif images

Thats a valid point. We are hoping that 3D-artists will use our Madlix technology to create portfolio-pages, and that other users will find a value in being able to use 3D in their homepages and blogs etc. Right now Madlix is kind of feature-less, but that will change

Personally, since I've gotten used to 3D in websites, I've started to find it disapointing not being able to see products rendered in 3D, for instance when I'm browsing for a new cellphone or furniture.

Do you have any thoughts on what features need to be added, to make Madlix useful in your opinion?

Thanks!

well :
1 you have a good layout
2 the color scheme is okay , but if you put a bit more work into it it could become even better
3 you have a nice logo
4 you could try to add a hover for the menu , to make the page look more dynamic
5 make the footer a bit more complex

Thank you.
