I think it looks fairly modern and unisex myself - but maybe that's just me. To be honest, I would rather use this forum than a lot of the other teenager-targeted forums that are around at the moment.

Cheers pal, yeah I wasnt too sure about the colour scheme at first but now I thinks its pretty unique compared to the other teen websites (golivewire, rouseindahouse, teenville, etc).
Also ive recently changed the dns of surfaceripple.com so that its ready to go and the click of a button.
I also changed the header logo and started on my own portal page.
www.surfaceripple.com/index.php (I modified the categories and boards so that they didnt take up so much space)
www.surfaceripple.com/portal.php (Not complete! - Need some advice what to put in the blocks and where to place everything).
