Okay, the whole "original content" and "duplication content penalty" thing, what do you think of http://freearticlestreams.com/ ?

Basically, rather than having to copy/paste articles from dedicated sites, I want to automatize this, providing 1 article per day and per "zone".
On the long run, I plan to rent 1 ad space below the article that are sent to the pages.

A zone is simply a unique link with a specific category attached to it.
Every 24 hours, the article displayed by this zone changes.

I still have some parts to do, especially a "gallery" of articles to browse on, but what do you think of this ?

They said last week that there is no penalty for duplicate content. It looks to me like you would be okay. It's not a bad concept. I think you might be able to build it into something.

The basic layout on the site looks good to me. The scheme is good and the controls (what there are) look easy.

If its not on your to do list, I would upgrade that picture of the glasses on the newspaper. Its a little too dark and distant. Get a little closer to the glasses, but far enough away to see its a newspaper. Maybe a little lower/shallower of an angle too. If you could tweak the lighting in Photoshop to vaguely resemble your colors, that would look nice too.

My two cents anyway. Best of luck.

I'm more of a programmer than a designer, I woudn't have even seen it...
Thanks.

Yeah, I wanted this to be as easy to understand and straight forward as possible.
No hundreds of options, no hundreds of reports/stats.
Just 1 name and 1 category which link to 2 codes, and that's all.

Anybody else ?

nice and simple...really like the simplicity and no crazy colors. It may be a bit pale and could use a little more color

I like the layout; it looks professional. My only comments would be (and this may just be a personal preference) to make the font a tiny bit bigger, and, at the top where it says "Welcome to freearticlestreams.com", simply change it to "freearticlestreams.com" or probably just "free article streams". I don't really think the "welcome to" is necessary. A plain, informative title like "free article streams" would tell the visitors more about what the site about at first glance.

Anyways, it's looking good!

Wow... I never hoped to have only good comments...
Anyway, thanks to you all.

Anwipr, the size of the font is desired that way. The normal text have a 1em size, but the {h1|h2|h3} have 1.2em, so it catch the eye directly, before even reading the rest.
There isn't much to read, and I don't want to lose my "customers" in a lot of text.
I want to guide their reading, just enough to convict them...
:-)

I just committed in the article gallery.
Now every articles I have in the DB is browsable.
I just need to continue adding them now....

not bad. nice and simple, im not too keen on the menu being "under" it may look better if you had it "over" with a drop shadow.

Not on the top of the page ?
