I've been coding up a webhost rating system for my webhosting forum. It still needs a lot of work and features but please tell me what you think of what I have so far:
Free hosting has a purpose, its great for personal sites with low traffic, if you don't mind the banners. If you want to do something with your website and have some reliability you're going to have to pay for it.
It's very interesting. I've seen lots of other comparisons of web hosting, but most of them are more html link driven and a pain in the butt to use. Kudos.
But one of your ads is for a known spammer, who's posted 120 antagonistic posts here attacking other members to get signature links. He also spams my friend's blog. So, seeing an ad for him on your web app makes me not trust the results. So I won't be recommending it to anyone.
I like the site, it worked very well. Excellent job.
A piece of information I generally look for in a web host was missing though. I usually like to know if the people I'm purchasing through are reselling for someone else or a direct web host. Most of the results I got in the search I know are not resellers, but if that information was available, I think it would help viewers (myself included).
