Please tell me what you think of this site. I am a auto parts salesman not a website builder, I just have a little (and I mean little ) know how from a hobby site I built for the fun of it. I have a vendor who didn't have a website so I built him one to his specs. I have no clue what its worth, and I need to load it onto his servers tomorrow. Someone tell me what a site like this would be worth ( I haven't yet done any SEO or keyword tags yet but will) It's on my server as a subdomain right now www.diversitech.brigshouse.com Thanks for the input.

Vendor Liked Them alot, I wonder if they are to heavy for some machines/conections. What would be your reason for ditching them? Thanks for your opinion.

I like the intro, but keep in mind that flash is not indexed as well as good old fashioned html. Its gonna be hard to optimize this for the search engines. Focus on a link campaign, I would say.

Good luck

Search engines, especially Google, frowns upon those flash intro pages and they get pretty annoying to users after the first 1 or 2 times too. Bottom line is the SE bots can't index flash and there's no indexable content on the page - this is very bad for search engines.

You have a big problem with the flash navigation in that you have used the <embed> tag. That will cause IE users problems in that they will never see your flash navigation until they 'activate' the flash content - that means going thru a couple of screens first. You need to use another method to put the flash in a page. If you go to the HTML forum, you'll find 2 stickies that outline several methods for getting rid of <embed>.

I would recommend you put a proper DOCTYPE into your pages too.

As with some others here not a fan of the flash menu - otherwise it gets the job done

I would skip the flash intro. Having a small flash segment on the site is nice but not something I want to see everytime I load the site. I would think a skip intro would help
