My new site

hi

here is my new site.. i'm a newbie website owner so be gentle.. www.gamer-art.com

Basically i have had the site created for around £850 by a friend of mine.. He did all the graphics, layout etc. It is hosted with imhotsed.com and i am learning to use cpanel etc.

its had a round 15 unique visitors while i have been uploading and testing etc, which i know aint many but i exepcted none for a few days. it went live around 20 mins ago.

I am looking for advertising ideas aswell but not the google ads

That is a really cool site. I like the simple but nice layout. I think that all you need now is to find other sites or web-databases to promote your site on. You defintely have the product, so now you need to find drag customers in.

like i said i am a complete novice but can easily understand when its explained properly..

I am trying to figure what backlinks are and how i get them and create them..

Are they banners or text i put on my site or others sites?

I like the layout style, you hired a pretty good designer

But my one little annoyance (if you can say that) is I'm wondering if the central colour is orange or brownish hue. Make that colour more clear and you have a perfect layout, and I especially like the header text. So big and bold, nice work =)

This site is nicely laid out. The only thing that I would suggest to improve is the navigation links. With the grey outline they appear fuzzy to me and not clear. I would try to test some other outline colors or methods to see if you could increase the sharpness

it's a nice design.. but if u ask me... the price is way over the real one.. with 850 u could make a youtube site alike.. but if this is what u need ... then go with it..! and good luck!

I have revued sites on a lot of webmaster forums and I can honestly say yours is the best site I have seen for a long time, well worth the money you paid

I love the logo! It really gives it its own unique feel. I think the colors work well together too.
