Looks very professional, but I would remove the very last word on the home page...You have to be very business like in this sector.

I agree with Sandbox (regarding the final word on the homepage). In additon, while your design is solid, you may want to work on your writing skills. I had to re-read the first few sentences to figure out what you were trying to say. And a lot of the content is just stuff--if I was looking to hire a designer, I'd be turned off by your lack to verbally connect with my needs. (I don't need to know your hobbies or how much you play around. I'd need to know how you could meet my need--in a professional fashion.)

It's just bad that I don't speak English

The final word, however, is nothing else than true. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain****

EDIT: You need to fix the **** because this WT censored it...

The layout of your website is very boring. The header looks sharp but in the content part of your page, you have a long and boring text without much graphic.
I would suggest that you re-work the main part of the site.

Your english is a little sketchy. Is it a second language to you? If not, I would recommend checking over your grammar and word choice a bit.

Your site is very attractive, but your prices are a turn-off.

A friend of mine has a nephew that just got back from fighting in Iraq. I asked him what it was like. His answer: "Always remember your weapon was made by the lowest bidder."

For the finance guys, the lowest bid is great. For the people relying on the stuff, it doesn't inspire confidence. And your prices, $5 an hour for programming when you could hire someone at 10x that rate, well, it makes me wonder why. You asked for a review, and this probably isn't what you meant, but it's the thing that bothers me most when I look at your site.

I seem to be the only one, though.

Also, I agree with the others. You can't use the word fink on your home page. Even if it's the true name of a programming language, the number of people who know that is small, compared to the number of people you probably home will see your site and buy something from you.

Hi all,

First of all I want to thank you for great tips and hints!

My primary language is Finnish which is far different than English, therefore I may not speak English very well... any advices to resolve this lack of English language? Do you suggest any good translators/checkers?

Ok. The last word on my homepage is not necessary so I'm going to remove it right now.

Maybe I should just use text "Custom programming" instead of "Custom programming starting at x". To be honest, the 5$ hourly ratio may vary a lot. I made a complete community system for one guy for 150$. That would mean that I have spent 30 hours on the project, but I did spent many days and nights, so the price is not so solid.

Learning Newbie: Which prices are you talking about? Do you mean the template prices are high, service prices or what? If they are really SO high, I'm ready to lower them then.

ablaye: Do you mean that putting some graphics near/between text would make site more lively?

After all, thanks for replies - helps a lot!

You need to work on your title. Not too many people are going to be searching for your name. Put some of your keywords in your title to explain what is on the page. 8-10 words max will do. I would advise to take the information about you off the page. No one cares about it. You need to make the home page more friendly with some pictures and bring out the best that you have to offer, not a life story about you! Just my .02 cents.

The site looks nice enough, and I like the icons, but there are two things I would change.

1 - It's so static! Nothing moves. I know it sounds pathetic, but it's like looking at an image, not a webpage. Rollover buttons, links, or anything else that would make it a bit more interesting.

2 - Your grammar. If a possible customer looks at that, and sees that you won't even put in the effort to write properly on your own site, then surely they will close the window and go to someone a bit more reliable.

Site looks good. Just try to expand your page a little further to the bottom.

Hi!
The icons are very cool - I like them. I do agree with few other users here - too much information about yourself. You can shorten a bit.
You can also add a little more color to the site.
