Come check out my new site and tell me what you think. Its Cromster.com, a site dedicated to online scavenger hunts. I think its going to be pretty fun. Just to let you know before you give it a bad review. It is made to be simple, something everyone can do. Let me know what you think.

I'm sure that "gamers" will enjoy this site, but since I'm not into PC games, I don't care for it ... that being said, you built this using that horrible "Site Builder".

You really need to grab a REAL HTML Editor and do your own hand-coding -- especially to fix these 102 code warnings so the site validates and displays properly in all browsers:

Can you tell me what is not showing up wrong. Im sorry, I am not web designer, I just had this idea and it seems to be working.

I don't know anything about what's wrong with the code or how to fix it. But I think I know how you plan to make money with it and I have to say it's pretty brilliant and wish you luck. If it takes off you could be raking in a nice chunk of change.

About the look:

Get rid of that cheapo Photoshop filter logo. And develop a style around your website theme of the scavenger hunt. Maybe a black background with the green radar like maps from the military or from the show the Amazing Race. Or do an old treasure map theme with the dash lines, red X's, dead ends, mountains and monsters.

I'd also add a forum to the site so people could talk about the hunts. People who would participate in your hunts for an "easy" ten bucks would probably like game and quiz shows. So take advantage of that and create a community where they could talk about the latest popular shows. It will give you another revenue stream.

Therefore, if you only had an idea; you didn't design the website; I'm guessing you don't have a clue as to what the errors mean, much less fix them ... am I correct?

Hi - Nice idea!

I'm not particularly keen on the money web logo at the top... kinda spoils it for me and perhaps the text could look a little more interestind

Neat concept, but I think you need to explain what your site is all about before you just throw the user into it.

"Welcome to Cromster, where you can <blah blah blah scavenger hunt>. Here's how it works... <blah blah>"

Maybe actually put everything currently on your home page into a secondary page with a big "Start now" button in home to take the user there (*after* you've finished explaining the concept). Don't rely on the user's intuition to click on the tiny FAQ page link, before at least giving a basic attempt to explain how it works.

I'm also not crazy about the logo but it could work if it's just cleaned up a bit.
