I love your banner but don't care much at all for the advertising banner that it shares space with. I know WT does the same thing here and it's probably a great revenue stream for your site, but yea, I don't care for it. I like the logo and I like the font you used in the banner graphic. Don't let anyone tell you to change it.

Great navigation and color schemes. I like the subtle shading and use of borders around the pages that provide good visual delimiters between content sections.

"Top Stories" and "Announcements" need to appear below the welcome message and above the "Member Spotlight." Putting your "Top Stories" so far down the page devalues the term.

The "Check this site out" section is totally out of place. Move it into one of the side columns.

Overall, the site is very clean and attractive.

7/10.

* The advert doesn't load for me, I get 'Error on page'.

* The section headings are poor quality - they're all jaggedy.

* There are spelling mistakes in your introductory paragraph.

* The rollover effects down the nav bar column are very good.

* The announcements are a bit squished up.

* "Check this site out" doesn't work

* The logo is good. The title is a bit small perhaps.

* You have a few random capital letters going round, e.g. in your title and introductory paragraph.

Overall, nice site, has a nice feel, but there must be hundreds of sites like this on the net, and, for me, this one doesn't distinguish itself enough from the rest.

Thanks all for the constuctive comments. This site has become quite large this past year and and the smallter things tend to get overlooked somtimes. Thanks for pointing them out.

wicko3, at first glance it does look like "just another community". But once you get involved with what's going on it has quite alot more to offer then what can be seen. I guess I should probably try to bring some more of the perks out into the open more.

lets see.... the site on a whole looks pretty good but i would have like to have seen some more colour. The logo looks good - well thought out - you do need to look into the quality of the images.

I also liked you left hand dhtml drop down menu - it works well

Hope this helps & Good Luck! it looks like you have a good site going!!

I love it, yes there are some small items that have been pointed out, but on the whole this is a good looking site with plenty of useful content. The biggest thing I would change is take out the banner at the top, it ruins the site, and get rid of the sponsors header as there is nothing in it.

9 out of 10
