Pretty straightforward design, easy to get an overview. One thing that catch my eye is the "jigsaw" pattern that you get on the top and in the bottom where the grey meets the green. Could you smoothen that out?

I plan to get a graphic designer to make a nice header and logo design for me. That would be couple months down the road though...

Any other suggestions guys?

the navigation seems a little blockish, maybe round out the corners and yeah work on the header. other than that simple, and clean.

I've added polls and new features to the site too, in order to make it more attractive for visitors to stay.

A great looking site with lots of good content.
I would however point out that when using the navigation the titles obscure the fly out menus.
Otherwise well done.

Regarding your new project, here are a couple of suggestions 'pokereagles' for the header and/or logo design consider using green and white card suits as BG repeatedly, and make image of eagle much much larger, after all the website is called poker'EAGLE'.
