Newbie, First site ever built......please judge.

will go to range down the street every blue moon to wack off some aggression

but,

you should be quite proud of your site

very appealing

soft on the eyes
good layout
nice animation
some good information

great site

not much to critisize cept there's no reviews yet, but it is a new site
and you're missing some courses in union county, there's some small ones
theres a little 9 on 74 in monroe and theres a couple drive ranges next to it too.

I take it you're from NC?

whereabouts?

know what would be cool addition to your site
the images on initial slideshow,
if you can link the picture to the course within your site
user clicks > directed to course page with info and reviews and more screenshots

looks good though

the tough parts over

now the hard part is getting it up the ranks

BTW, i'll be able to link the courses up like that later if i wanted too, The flash intro is actually slideshowpro... so i think i can use it to my advantage later.

pr is pretty much meaningless

what does it rank in searches
and for what keywords

that's what you should pay attention to

for instance, our site is #1 in google for "tile contractor charlotte"
but non-existant for just "tile contractor"
and on page 2 for "charlotte tile"

we do paint too, and way down low in paint searches on google

website is never done
always a work in progress

site is meaningless if it sits there dormant with no one looking at it

you have to optimize, promote, update, gain backlinks

Did you mean to say your first GOLFING site you've ever built? Just asking, because I remember posting my first website for review, but it sure as hell didn't look this good.

There is not much to criticize. Although I need to say it looks somewhat familiar. Did you come up with it yourself? Because if you did than KUDOS to you my friend!

No I've never taking any classes on anything with design or web.... But i'm gonna try and Major in Graphic Design at NCSU... I've Found my Passion. I'm 26 by the way.. took me a while to find something i really like

PS: About the PR thing, I Actually rank #1 on all kinds of searches in google, I'm getting about 100 people a day so far from searches.

You are kidding, right

Because if this really is your first site I can only say BRILLIANT.
Just one very slight niggle because of the colour you have chosen for active links they hardly show in your footer.
And one slightly more serious niggle because you have chosen to size your text in px the user cannot alter the size. A better choice would be ems which allows the user this choice.
But as I said to start BRILLIANT, well done.

Your site doesn't look like a first site.

The layout is classical, but really effective, the color scheme is not aggressive, and the content looks of quality.
I say look, as I don't play golf, so it's hard to say what is true and what is bulls**it.

A big "bravo" to you. I'm sure you will be proud of what you have done.

pretty good actually
nice colors, like mentioned before- easy on the eye
if you want to change/add anything- i would recomend more green on there
