A few tips, based on what "All the other blogs" Ive seen.

I would put a link to the main website at the top, mainly since I'm used to going to the home page by clicking on the words at the top.

I like what you did with the numbers on the side of the template.

The reason blogs, do so well is because of all the content there is, on your blog, after clicking on the links for each section, PHP&Mysql, you have links only. I don't know if you are interested in ranking well, but again, just going by what I'm used to i would look at that and maybe place more content, that's just if I were to change it.

BTW I love Java

I would rate it 8/10

I will add "next post / previous post" links. Maybe this will make it easier to surf.

Well, at first glance, it's a bit bland. I like the colours though. Maybe separate things more to make it more clear and easier to understand where one thing ends and another begins.

a little late in the game for a matrix effect
unless theres one coming out I dont know about

looks visually appealing though
a break from the norm in bloggers

The blog look great , just something not right with the font color. If I may, may be you can widen the screen. Then, the most imporatant steps are to keep posting, promote and exchange links.
