yeah, you need to get hold of an icon maker program, iconmaker and michelangelo are good ones.
Make it and save it as favicon.ico, then you have to upload it to your root folder and insert <LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="/favicon.ico"> in the head of your page
