Hey guys, I own http://www.profitgeek.com and would love some feedback on the site and how its going. I submitted the site here a while back ago and you guys really responded, so the whole site have basically been changed and one thing we are really excited about is our

Ad Revenue Sharing Feature

No matter if you use Adsense, YPN, Bidvertiser (and many more to come) you can still earn money from our forums!

Design wise it looks unprofessional and old. It is too crowded and busy and the design doesn't suit the content. Any forum that pays you to post is going down the wrong path. Getting better but still way off the mark

Are you saying the main page or the whole site is crowded/busy? Also, we don't pay people to post on our forums. We are running a contest where we give away random prizes to forum members if thats what you mean...But thats just a kick-off contest. So not sure what you meant by that one, but thanks for the feedback. Could you maybe offer some suggestions on what you would do to cut back on the crowdedness of the site? Or what you would like to see? Thanks. Anyone else have a comment on the if the site is crowded or not? Would like to get some more opinions on the matter.

it looks nice...though personally i don't care for the "boxed in" look of the main page...and maybe just a suggestion stick with one color scheme throughout the site? your site is orangish where as the forum and the directory are green...

if i may ask, where did you get your rev sharin program from? I have one on my site and don't much care for it...

do you make over $10 per hour from all that effort

personally i feel i get paid about $0.25 an hour for my blogging efforts and talking about stuff in this forum...

hey, i am a member of your site and let me tell you this.... pay a designer for a new layout for w/e CMS script yo uare using... it will cost you no more than $400 and you will get so much more signups to your forums and stuff! GOOD SITE, btw

Thanks for the feedback so far guys. So basically we just need to get the homepage up to par with the rest of the site?

Also, whomever asked about the ad sharing mod...Its completely custom. Coded by us at Profit Geek. Have you ever seen another webmaster site that allows multiple ad networks so that no matter which one you use you make money?

no actually i hadn't...i've only seen for the google adsense revenue...which is what i have and it doesn't work very well...

Thank you, if you can please give us some more feedback on how to make the site better. Most of you seem to think we need to redo the homepage...Were on it

Also, someone asked if we make 10 dollars an hour. Actually, NO! You see, The owners of Profit Geek ( A couple of random webmasters) are successful online in what we do. So we decided to create a place for webmasters to learn. I know there are other forums out there. But most sites don't give you everything in one. We have forums, a blog, podcasts, a directory, etc, etc and so much more in the works. We have a custom multiple ad sharing mod for vb (currently supports adsense, ypn, and bidvertiser) We give away 100% of the revenue of the forums to our members unlike most webmaster sites that only give 50% Any other profits we make from the site go right back into the site.
