Hi Guys.

Its finally time to set a permanent Newborn Designs style in concrete. Would everybody please post which design they think is best, design 1, 2 or 3. Please not that these are drafts and *small* bugs should be bypassed, such as a border/line in the wrong spot-but larger bugs should be pointed out.

They will all be around the same size etc in full version as well. Just different output settings on preview.

Well-here they are.

Thanks for helping us Out-Alex.

You will be getting opinions.............so I'll give mine.

I like #2 the best (one in the middle). It's more appealing to me.

number 1 is clean and neat, with no clashing styles, which the others do have.

You must decide what type of company image you are after, as the three photos convey three very different company images. This is the most important criterion for selection, because graphically, all three designs are fine.

My vote is for number 1, but with possibly a reworked colour scheme to be more like the others perhaps.

W

ps. bear in mind the size of the title bar - number 1 is a bit too tall, and takes up a lot of the screen. Also bear in mind how the designs change for different resolutions.

IMHO, #2 will definately appeal to business people.

I think it needs a few more improvements such as better navigability and colour, but its a great start.

I like #1 (but I'm just a high school student, so maybe you shouldn't take me too seriously :b). It has a very fresh appeal, though I'm a little tempted to say that it has a lawncare company feel to it. I don't like that little blue line underneath your links, since it just takes up space. The top graphic is huge enough already, and you might actually consider shrinking it a bit.

#2 has a more professional color scheme, but I don't like the site layout, specifically how your navigation is set up. #3 has an interesting design, but the top graphic needs a little work because it looks like you just slapped two random pictures together and smudged the one on top a little. Just my $.02.

I like the 3-dimensional look of #2, but it needs something on the left. Maybe just some negative space of a different color or something. Awesome work.

#3 is a close second.

#2 is sick. I like #1 too though because its friendly and inviting. Wicko3 mentioned corporate image however, and he's right, it's all about how you want to represent your company. IMHO I feel mixing the warm and inviting with the sleek and corporate would be... lol... hard... but make your site very unique unto your company. Kinda like a high tech mom and pop store or somethin lol.

I like number 2 but I agree with the others about trying to capture an image. Template 1 and 3 are more professional than 2. Let us know what you decide

well i guess out of the 3 i would have to say #1, i have to say tho its nothing really eye catchy youd want for a flagship site, gets the job done tho, its clean looking, but nothing out of the ordinary
