Can you all please give some feedback on this site please.

Its running locally so some of its functionailty will not work (like registering) and some of the flash maps will not work correctly either.

I like how it's organized - with little boxes of information. However, here are some things for you to think about:

- a unified color scheme (right now it's kind of white, grey, black, all over the place - and the box with the yellow bg kind of throws off the scheme

- the text in the header ("ZLF Golf") looks choppy - maybe this graphic isn't sized correctly, or the font wasn't anti-aliased? Text looks better saved as a gif. I would try to have a more visually appealing header - maybe one with a picture as a background?

- some of the mouseover links on the side didn't load - some were black and would turn grey, but others started out as grey, and were hard to read.

Keep up the good work...

Too black ang grey...

Need to add some more color to it... Header and buttons would be good to start with...

Also, some of the images look to fuzzy... like online in the header... bad quality... I think you should make it better. And you have way too many ads, but its up to you though... site looks realy nice though. The layout is great.

I do like the way the information is organized. Yet one problem that happened with me was that the pictures took a little bit to load. I am connected on cable pulling roughly 3mbs. Maybe optimize them some way? Other then that maybe some color.

I agree with pretty much everything that's been said:
- more color
- higher quality header (especially the online text and the url text).
- Instead of having the header change to show telephone # then site url, show them both at the same time.
- pictures took a while to load. I think its the server connection though -- the images are not that big -- kilobyte wise.

I'd do something with that background... lack thereof. On my screen 1280x1024, I see your page centered and all that blank white around it. Add a very light pattern or make it a very pale solid or something. The color scheme could use a bit of a tweak. Maybe a bit more green ? After all, it IS a golf site

You need to fix the code, you've got your image sizes set as "width="468px" height ="150px" etc.. take out the PX, the validator chokes on it.

You've done pretty well on using CSS and not making it an all tables site, good for you ! I'd take it all the way, and only use a table where you need tabular data.

Thanks for your comments.

Hopefully the colour issues will now be too much for my betters to ignore and I may get some forward momentum on it now.

The images are fillers at present and we are not live with the site as of yet. Also it currently sits on a dev server which cannot provide high speed hook ups so the delay in image loading is on my end.

Once again thanks for the comments they are now planted firmly upon my chiefs desk where he cannot overlook them.

I like the site's layout. The links and information are also well organized.

However I think you should add a little more color on the background.

You're not gonna leave that grey or white don't you?

Wow it looks like a really neat news site, except some of the things look kinda generic, like the menu and banner.

If you could get a designer to touch them up for you you'd have something really cool on your hands.
