Looking For Content Reviews

Hi all,

I have just started a forum, http://www.rantsandslants.com and I am looking for some reviews about my content and topics.

I am also VERY interested in aquiring new members and I am willing to participate in a forum posting exchange with others who are starting a new forum.

All comments and suggestions are eagerly appreciated

Looks too plain... Too much white around logo or something... May be it is a blue table around forum... new posts sign and no new posts looks to similar... even same colors, can barely see the difference on my old laptop...

Make new posts darker or maybe even add some red so people would notice it riht away making no new posts the color of new posts.... It is my personal preference, but I would like log in on top... the topics look just fine... You'll get more with time...I would make a border around menu : FAQ, Search, Memberlist......... but it is also my preference.

As for content - (something I often don't really get into !

)
I love the concept of a place to rant - grumpy old groaners unite ! (for the record I am in reality not old ! )
I dont like the white space or free ads but I do like the banner text - short sweet straight to point ! does what it says on the tin - later on you can work on a fancy header graphic but now its just fine.

tonya so much for not reviewing forum sites! aswell of that you signed up. a post you have made on this forum says that you wont be reviewing forum sites.

LOL yeah I know - if you read any of the msgs in the post you will find that johnnyappleseed entered a msg about specifically wanting his forum critiqued in terms of content and I answered because its a rant side - remarking that since I was having a mini rant I actually thought it was quite funny & had eaten my words for once & done a review !

Now and then we are all entitled to a rant - its also a womans perogative to once in a while change her mind - just because she can ! Its in the rules of being a woman didn't you know that ? he he

So I changed my mind & on this occasion made a small review of a forum - on content as well as a few comments re design!
