Internet Market

InternetMarket.com is a search engine/ directory for all markets, countries and languages. The advertisers are given a unique opportunity to promote their products and services. We display their logo, a short description of the site and a 468x60 banner for each advertiser. Each advertiser may also create a minishop on our site, and even links to coupon codes and sweepstakes.

We offer free advertisment for the four first advertisers in each market in every country!(click for more info )

Feel welcome to tell us what you think of the site. Be honest and tell us what could be done better or different.

Hi

My first impression upon viewing your site (800 x 600) was that it looks messy and jumbled. A couple of points I would like to mention:

- Your nav buttons look very plain and dull. Centre the text in the boxes, or use some colour, or a simple mouseover effect would help.

- Space out the text / menu on the left hand side a little. It's too squashed up.

- Too much white space (although may look perfect in other resolutions....?)

- I am guessing that since you are from Norway, English is not your first language. You could do with getting someone to go over your text and correct it. It doesn't read very well.

- Place your categories into some type of table.

- Some of your category titles could do with being re-worked. Look at other search engines and see how they categorise their subjects.

- (small point) If you are a search engine yourself, why offer a Google search ?

- All the text at the bottom, "Here are the services...." seems to me to be overkill. I am no SEO expert, but it certainly looks like keyword spamming to me. Even if it isn't, it really does nothing to add to the appeal of your page.

Cheers

Hi,

Hmm site is a bit messy...the design is not streamlined enough to catch the eye of the audience. Would advice you to make it a bit more attractive and lively.

5/10

Cheers

Again too messy I am afriad. The buttons at the top are too large. Talk about packing in terms at the bottom of the page there is a huge passage with over 100 terms in a big list.

I really like the background!!! The layout looks nice and easy to nav. Could you make the buttons at top have a mouse over effect, and since they have small text make the actual buttons smaller so you dont have to scroll right and left.

The really big paragraph at the bottom with all the info on what they find, i feel you could do without, as Im not sure many people will read it.

We have now released a new version of Internet Market!

Some of the changes are:
-We do not open the logo- or banner-links in a new window anymore.
-The logo has now the same color as the background.
-We have also introduced a Pay-per-click program.

Is it getting better?

PS! Our site is best viewed with MS IE6.0 1024x768 (We now display a warning for all who is not using IE6.0 or newer.)
