Hello,

I have recently opened my free image hosting website:

http://www.fadefade.com

When it gets a bit more active I'm planning to spent some money on a custom script which will include a better looking design, have more features such as; accounts, more filetypes, resize etc. But this is the simple 1-click image hosting script I'm using for now.

Comments would be appreciated,
Thank you

I think it's impossible for you to get constructive criticism. There's nothing really there to criticize. It's just a "upload an image here if you want" with no explanation of the service, no privacy policy that I could see, no apparent means of blocking porn/adult images, nothing.

So I really don't have any thoughts.

You should say what image formats you support and have a private policy like adam said. And on your tools page your button has no colour its just a times ner roman piece of text

Not very good site

Internet was created so people can share information!! add content to your home page and describe your product and explain it avantages

use onother ad size and don't forget to remove the border ; we get used to see ads on webpages which are the same size and have borders, your ad should look as a part of your site.

Hope it will help

Design is not a problem here, it's pretty functional.
A few tips:
Get a cool unique logo so people will remember the name.
Take the ad out of there, it's not nice. put it somewhere else.
In the page that appears when you upload a picture there's the url and few linking codes, but there is no url for a thumbnail, also your logo is not displayed there, neither ads.

Good luck

I have to agree with Adam.. there's no design there, or content, to give any criticism on.

Somewhat minimalist, isn't it?
Not a lot going on here, and very short of explanation.
Otherwise, colours and layout look fine to me.
Nick.

Its just text and a bit chopy too.

Other than that is nice and easy to use.

ever heard of anti-aliasing?

but yeah, very simple. I like it. you should put an "index.html" page in http://www.fadefade.com/images/.

I can look at every image uploaded! not good for privacy...

LadyNRed said it all. No comment to be made really other than can someone explain to me why someone might want to store their graphics on someone elses web domain ? And how to they get them back? Are you meant to be able to get your graphics back at all? How are they catalogued so that the person who has uploaded can identify their own graphic in the future ? Or are you building a store of stock images ? Am I being daft ?

Is this hosting site to store graphics? I thought it was to host photos for message boards, auctions, etc.?

oh ok I guess that makes a bit of sense - some users won't have a web space to do that with. Ok I see now!

You see I was being dumb after all. Or maybe that is information that the site needs to say !

I like the concept. I think you do need to add some privacy and some way of stopping people from uploading pornographic material.
How about allowing the person uploading to choose if anyone can view it or not. Or the option of copyright text being added.
