Pretty good start, hardest part is allways getting people to register, with tonns of forums out there that do exactly the same thing you need something unique on your site. For traffic you might want to submit to forum directories such as http://www.forumvirus.com and others, it is free and effective. Good Luck

I don't really like the colors. IMO, it's better to have a lighter colors when it comes to forum. Just my 2 cents though.

looks ok.
but the colors are dark
and when the mouse moves over the links they become darker and blends in the background.

I would go with a white background. The blue and white is too hard to read.

Nice forum I would recommend using one of those posting services where you pay around $20 for 200 posts and advertise a bit to live it up. A nice looking, empty forum is pretty useless, ya know?

try going to a forum that has a forum opening team they go around and strat of forums with posts and members, once you have around 250 posts and 15 members they leave you to get members for your self on a set up forum that looks like it has members :-)

I quite agree with some of the other comments - there are so many forums out there now.

That said good luck my only comment is although I don't mind the colours I would prefer if the text area background was white. This forum works well with a colour scheme but the comment and text areas are light which make it pleasing to the eye, less harsh when working in stealth mode (late at night when your eyes hurt), and simply easier to read.

Change the text area colour and best of luck
