In an effort to improve the content and look (as well as categories and descriptions) of the FWT forum, I would love for your input.
(and by the recommendation of our friend Tiggy!)
So, let me have it! Just be nice

The color scheme of the board is very nice, easy-on-Droopy's-eye !
I love the blue ! I should add some more smilies...
It's an awesome board, well done and good luck with it.

More IMO's...
Overall....very good! Layout is very important on a forum and I think this one is good.
My graphic arts background kicked in and I noticed one little thing to correct. It's so little, that I don't know if most people will even notice. The home button on the nav bar was just the smallest bit off, but that seems to be ok now....you must have caught that yourself. So, is the little strip of white above the button intentional?
Hey, sorry, it's the only thing that I could find that needs improvement at the time!

May I suggest a New forum?
How about a Graphics forum where people can request Logos and things?
I'll moderate it

Hey,
Currently that is part of the "Design- All the Rest" category. Although I could break that down and add a separate graphics category possibly. Let me think about it. Maybe a category ONLY devoted to Logos where you could get your logo reviewed or ask for non-paid help (hmm, although that should be done in a barter category...) Let me think...
Post that again in the site review section where I ask for tips for the FWT forum....So others can comment there.

Well the board is looking great! .. but IMO: how bout colors that really attract many ppl? its not just the content that counts you know.
Anyway, how bout adding a Macromedia Flash forums to be included in the "design - all the rest" ill help in working it out if I can...

It probably would be cool to have a section on graphics. There are a lot of sub-forums that could be listed there too, like:

Graphics Programs tips, tricks, help- Adobe Photoshop
- Illustrator
- etc
- Logos
- Buttons
- Banners
- etc
If it's free help on actual design, then no problem. If it's barter, then the bartering should be private like emails and not on the forum. I think both would be great to have so we could all help each other out.....hmmm.......especially so I could get help!
Another section might be the flash portion and include help on: - Macromedia Flash
- Swish
- Flix
- etc
Just thinking outloud again. By the way, any kind of logos, buttons, etc., that need reviewed would need a url to be seen since images can't be added to the forum. To add the images could be too large a pull on the board resources.

While I've no problem with the suggestion, I'm not sure the time is right to split the forum down into too many sub categories... I think a particular forum section should be split up only when the parent topic is busy enough, otherwise you'll end up with quite a lot of empty boards that don't do much other than perhaps encourage some people to post a "first post" for the fun of it...
I say if there is need for an extra board or two, add them only when there is the demand, it will save on resources (bandwidth etc) and will not make some parts of the board look empty...

I'll moderate the Graphics Programs tips, tricks, help and Buttons forums maybe even the Logo one..but I suck at banners.

Tiggy,
That was the same thing I was mentioning to Dmo224 earlier.
Thanks for the input everyone! All of you have some great ideas. The biggest reason for not opening up several new categories is because I don't like empty categories. Help get the new affiliate section get going if you have any questions or comments over there.
I am thinking everything over and might add a couple new categories shortly.
Forky...I will get back to you about your offer when I split some categories. Thanks.

After careful consideration, and realizing that these posts need to get back on track of reviewing Tim's site.....
I give a 9 'cause I really like this forum. I'd give a 10, but that would be called "sucking up" to management.

Well I give it a 9 because I too like these fourms, easy to read and navigate (much like mine) and the people are friendly!
And I like the general layout of the site..graphics, ect
