site re-review

I've redesigned my site, and I'm wondering if the new design is better than the old one.

The new one is http://erdnis.host.sk/new/index.php

The old one is http://erdnis.host.sk/

Which one is the best?

Hi,

I actually like the old design better. I would just try changing some of the colors on the old one. I would change the grey backround to the same color you used for the "NEWS" pic/text.

Let me know if you try this..

I tried that, but it didn't look any good.

The main reason why I want to change the design is that I want to get rid of the menu at top. I don't realy like it much, and it makes it hard to add features such as the "browse games by letter" thing you see on the new design.

So do you have any suggestions for the new one?

OK, I've made a new design for the new one. Is this one better?

Also, I have a question: why does it automatically become an empty line after the "Submit" buttons? And how can I prevent this?

Hey erdnis,

I like the new example better, but I think it's because of the colors and the new title/logo. I think the color change is a big plus. Another plus is the new title.

The old site would be better with the new title and new colors.

If you don't like the menu, then you'll probably want to stick to the new layout.
