Hi guys,

We got a new logodesign project called www.logomaid.com.

I would appreciate if someone could take a look at it and tell me what he thinks.
There is always place to make it better..so any suggestions are welcome.

Someone told me there is too much green I don't think so though.

Greetings,
Jan

I don't think there is too much green. I love the layout and colors. The only thing I would like to see is some rollover effects for the links and buttons.

Great job.

logomaid i like the template design - it is clean and simple!! always a plus.

however there are a couple of things that could be altered to improve the aesthetic effect of the site:

1) Incoporate a different background to just the plain white - perhaps a opaque large version of one of the logos for sale.... (just an idea).

2) there is too much white space in the header section of the site - you can reduce this significantly.

3) considered enlarging the font size or alternatively make it possible so that people can increase / decrease the font size.

just a few things for you to consider but a great start! Good Luck in taking the site further.

They pretty much covered the flaws ^^^^

So I'm going to comment on these so called logos you are selling on your site...

They look so darn good it's not even funny! I would seriously buy logos from you if I didn't have Photoshop. Very, very good work!

Great looking site! The green is good and so is the girl in the maid's outfit. Very cool!

I have no compalints in that area. I didn't get the point of the site. Obviously I know that the site is sellling logos but I didn't understand if they are custom logos, logos that I have to fix myself, and so forth. There is another great site I just was visiting call belogodesign.com and they have a "PROCESS how it works" link at the top that instantly helped me understand how the website does business. Just an idea.

Looks great, I agree on the white space... just a little tweak that will make it easier on the eyes.

BTW, your banner over at procartoonz is very nicely done also...

Hi guys,

First of all, that's for your comments.

white space - we kind of wanted to keep it simple and use the same style as at designgalaxy.net and designload.net.

maid - yea, she is definitely hot

Process how it works - I guess we could add something like that to make it easier for people to understand...good point. On the other hand it says the logos are fully editable and what files are included with the purchase (at details page).

Rollover - hmm, maybe we could do something. We wanted to keep it realy simple...make a fast loading site in xhtml. All images are optimized....for example, the buttons gifs are just at 11 colors etc.

header of the site - we kind of wanted it this way...to make the logo stand out

Text size - that's kind of a problem, as the site uses pure xhtml/divs and it's not possible to extend the text space without actually modifying the css. We optimized the site for all main browsers - explorer, mozilla, netscape 6.x and opera. There is still problems with rendering of the text at mac and linux..as these platforms use 96dpi texts.

If you want, comment our other sites too....

much apreciated

cheers,
Jan

Well, I do like fast loading sites, so maybe no rollovers for the buttons.

But the text links can have rollover changes by using the a:hover etc. psuedo classes in CSS. That won't add anything to the load time.

Hi,

Yes, we wanted to create a fast loading site...and this one is really fast. The graphic has just about 40k I believe. We optimized every single image.

Regarding the logomaid logo... We cannot satisfy everyone..someone likes it, someone does not. We do! . Good you like the products though

Any searchoptimization wiz around? What could be done better to get higher in se..? We'll be adding h tags...anything else?

Cheers,
Jan

Hi,

We got alt tags added to each picture, otherwise it wouldn't pass the xhtml validator.

Cheers,
Jan

The site looks professional and the realization is good.

I'm agree with the person that said that you must put a rollover effect on the links...I know that you want to have a light site but a rollover doesn't make it heavy but makes it more nice!

The logos that you offer are very cool, maybe try to change the logo of your site (logomaid) that is not too bad but even not nice like the producs that you offer!

I think that it's a good site and a good idea...'maybe I'll buy something from you!

Hi there,

Hmm, I think the site is colorful enough...we just want to keep the white background .

Regarding the logo..we do not want the users to get distracted too much..they should look at the products .

We'll be adding some rolovers ... we already made the buttons fully clickable..(just text was clickable some time ago).

You can check also designgalaxy.net and designload.com.... and tell me what you think
