Hi everyone,

If you could, please review my sites.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Discrete Autos
http://discreteautos.net/

[SNIPPED - Put only one site per thread.]

A very large concern of mine search engine optimization.
In fact, thats my only big concern on COTrails.

If anyone wants to trade links, let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi

The site and the html coding look okay you also have a few links on the site what I might advise is checking the page rank of the links that you have and make sure there is a few with a higher page rank than 3.

Hope this helps

Regards
Peter

Nice site except how do you register?
Also, on the hompage the car on the right seems to be cutoff.

Hi there!

I checked out your Concrete Composition site, and thought it was filled with alot of good information, but the overall look would not normally keep me reading/interested. The pics are great, but I just think the graphics need a boost to go along with the great concrete work. Overall usability was really good!

Keep up the good work!

Concrete Composition

1. I tried the site with black text, I think it was easier to read and looked better like that.

2. I also tried it with a border that is a darker shade of the background color:#4F3C25, and I also made the border="2", which seems to work better.

3. Don't use "Click Here", always blend the link into the text.

4. use CSS to make the links change when mouseovered to give the user some feedback.

5. NEVER hide links or text at the bottom of the page by making them the same color as the background! You can get banned from search engines for doing that.

The only problem I had with the site is that the gigantic racing club banner confused me. When I first logged on, my eyes were immediately drawn to it, so I had to spend some time figuring out exactly what the site does. Best of luck.

Ditto Rutgersone, that banner space for the racing club had me wondering, I thought it was an affiliate. REALLY got my attention though and I was curious enough to find out what it was. So, it does work.

All in all, I liked it... but I couldn't find my 60s GTO....

Thanks for the input everyone.
Concrete Composition is a very, very basic site and I inteded it to be that way.
I'm glad the banner on discrete autos serves its purpose.

I never thought this was too big of a deal

What if I make the text color, just a tad bit off the bg?
All the search engines have indexed the site, so apparently its A-OK for now.

Yeah, they will still index it with the hidden text, but if someone sends in a complaint it could be a problem.

Making the color a bit different should work.

good layout - the site is easy to look through - however i would have liked to see your logo as more than just three text words.

additionally i think you need to sharpen your navigation buttons - they look a little jagged around the edges.

i think overall you can still brighten it up - especially on the pages following the homepage.

Your site is really nice, clean, and good color choices. I did get confused for a while between the huge "JOIN OUR RACING CLUB" and the name. The first thing I did was click on the Racing Club link and checked out the forum. The actual point of the site, excuse me if I am wrong, is the auto classifieds right? I think that you should work on making the site come off more as a Classifieds website with a racing club forum and not the other way around.

Just my two cents.
