Hey,
It's been 2 years since me and several of my friends started this project, at first to learn and understand web developing and design, but later it turned out to be a big project which we are planning to launch in several days.
It's a browser game.
link: http://tinyurl.com/bvermb5
Since game will be launched on September 1st, you still can't login but you can check the screenshots on the index page.
It still needs improvement but we'r getting there.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Oh My Goodness! Awesome!
Just beautiful, colors and all, nice touch with the binder on the left housing the content. I did check each screenshot, the only suggestion I would make is to enlarge them so you can read the content on the graphic, if that's what you are asking.
The game itself sounds very exciting and fun, that's probably why I can't give you a decent review.
The forum you setup on the site is very nice, I didn't check all the links but the ones I went to are working just fine. I can appreciate the work that went into this project with you and your friends!

Thank you all. Im glad you like it
We did put a lot of effort in this project and i hope users will like it too.
The game has a lot of features, screenshots can't tell the whole story.
We wanted to use a combination of these colors because it gives you the impression that you really are in 1920's, with all those black and white graphics and old torn paper.

What screen resolution do you use? I can read the text clearly on 1920x1080.
I agree that they are a bit poor quality.
btw, i don't want to turn this topic into advertising, but if someone wants a key and can't get it on the net, send me a pm i'll gladly give you one.
Cheers

I changed the Monitor settings to 1920 x 1080, now it was really small, changed the settings on the browser, enlarged the graphics which became smudgy and distorted. It could be something on my monitor settings isn't setup right for screen size resolution 1920 x 1080.
That's the impression I had with the backdrop, I was now in the 1920's, ready to fight the other crime families.

Wait, you do know that you can click on those images and enlarge them to like 800x600?
I'd put bigger screenshots but you know that some users still use 1024x768
The quality is at 60% because they are for preview only, i'll give you the beta key so you can enjoy full quality

I got it! Wahoo!
What I was doing wrong was right clicking and bringing up the thumbnail again.
I'm looking at the map, crystal clear.
Now I am going to read all the screenshots because I did bookmark the site.

Anyway, the game has started so you can login now and tell me your opinion.
Layout, graphics, features... give me some feedback.
Thank you.

You added a favicon, real nice!
Earlier I tired to play the game with the key provided, didn't work, I couldn't play the Mafia game. Later on today, I will log in, I know nothing about gaming....
I can read all the screenshots, they aren't too bad, saving them to a .png would read crystal clear instead of a .jpeg. I realize your are trying to keep the graphics down, no matter what you try doing to save a graphic to a .jpeg the quality of the graphic diminishes.

Is there supposed to be that much of a gap at the top?

Which gap are you referring to?
Because i have 2 different images at the top, one on index page and the other is when users are logged in.

I can't log in, filled in the fields along with beta key at the bottom, pressed sign and nothing happened. Went to the disclaimer page, after reading the disclaimer page, thought maybe at the bottom there was a next to register an account.
On the front page there is no Register button to click onto to open up an account, you have play with it for a sign to come up to Register an account.

Im not sure i follow you.
You can't register or you can't login?
This is the link to register new account http://tinyurl.com/8v7gad4
Button is disabled until all the fileds turn green, that is when you fill them in.
After that login on index page.
Which browser are you using?
Users have already registered with no problem.
I DID wrote in the footer "For best experience use: Firefox, Chrome and Opera"

Great work! The site and all the screens are very well done(could not find a better phrase for this ). The historical feeling is so strong, and the design itself is very playful. As a browser game should be!

This looks like a fun game to play. Great design and graphics and capture of the historical mafia feel! Will give it a go and let you know if I find any kinks that need to be worked out. Kudos to you and your friends!

I don't mean to be persnickety but there's a small typo on the register page where it says "Unated" instead of United: http://mafiafellas.com/register
