Hello, I have an online bingo website, the URL is: http://www.bingobabe.co.uk/

Looking for reviews on the sites appearance and how well you will think it will convert visitors into buyers. Also comments on the on-page SEO would be cool.

Thanks for the review.

Well, first impressions are this:

The site is very pink. Is it a girls-only website? Is this website aimed at females? The logo and URL both have the word 'babe' in them, so I would assume so.

If you want to maximize your conversions (visitor -> buyer), it's best to make the website aimed at a demographic including both genders. Of course, it the website is aimed at just girls/females, don't bother

My 2:

Bright, colourful websites seem to be aimed at a younger, more vibrant generation.

I also see that you have ~500 Facebook likes. That's very good! Keep up the good work

NICE COLOR SELECTION !

Seriously I actually like it. I think grabbing attention was what you were looking for and you got it !

May I also suggest a better looking and a bigger logo and maybe a ad banner up at the top ?

Good luck !

I didnt know there was such a strong correlation between Bingo and Barbie Dolls!

I'd dial down the saturation a bit. It looks too.......pink!

Very color full and nice design. The menu bar looks little bigger than normal menu size, everything else is ok to me.

After a while it hurts the eyes. Quite a good name though. Who knew there were THAT many bingo brands? Interesting question about gender. Is the name "bingo babe" attractive to both genders? Surely so. Maybe a touch of blue would keep hold of those male users. I guess the moral is, William Hill are among the best adspace purchasers in the uk online gambling zones of cyberspace.

It IS very very girly. Are you sure you're not losing money? Why not try it for a short time in a different colour and see if there is any difference. As a bloke I have to say bingobabe DOES draw in male interest, although for all the wrong wrong wrong reasons. However, that's human nature. It pays the bills.

extra note: The page was still open in a tab. I had closed another and the page came into view. BOY IS THAT PAGE PINK. There's a lot of pink there. It's just too much, unless you're specifically selling soft toys or bed furnishings for young female infants. Outside that, maybe as the colouring of one or two juice drink packets, but after that it's only the lingerie shops who use that colour.

you've inspired me. i'm adding a girly site to my construction schedule. there's a field for addiction if e'er i found one

I'm actually quite impressed with this design. Indeed, it's very pink, but I'm sure I will instantly recognize the site when I come across it again.

I personally would try and re-use the yellow that's in the logo and some of the buttons. Maybe try to use it for the stars in the header and maybe a touch or two in the footer.

Other than that I really like it. Keep it up!

Nice article. Interesting read. I've read that gambling addiction in the UK has grown 50% in July 2011 compared to 2007. Big numbers!

It got me thinking and if this was something I'd get myself occupied with, I'd look into moving this website to a mobile version. I'm fairly sure alot of visitors would switch to the mobile site exclusively, so they are able to "hide" their activities. I mean, even my grandma has a data plan on her cellphone...

While this might be the worst good advice I have given in a while, I think that would help you reach visitors who can't find the time and place to log onto a pc.
