Hey Zeta,

I've seen a few people make the mistake like you did when developing their site. What you did is take images that are a higher resolution and shrink them to fit in your web page instead of resizing the image in a paint program like photoshop and than implementing into spaces for your photos on the site.

What happens is the images get distorted and although the images may "look" small, the file size is still as large as the higher res because they're still the same file.

Hi.....

What Line says is a good point. The other thing is your title image looks bad, it sticks out too much. I took the liberty of doing one for you that might look better......or at least show you what other options are available. This one took me about 90 seconds to do.....and Im far from good at this!

Need more overall background related to web techniques. Images are not well manipulated, wrong resolution, etc. Anyway, it´s just a construtive opinion since you´re a beginner. You´re in the right direction by asking others opinions.

This is a typical site from a new webmster, images have been added without thought of size, res and so on, the layout is very basic and looks home made and as far as I could see or should I say couldn`t see is an introduction explaining why you`re there!

It`s not a bad site though and IMHO needs alittle more help, which I`m sure you`ll get from our reviews, good luck.

the first one was better... this one is worse

its quite ugly and the code is rather awful....

white BG would be nice.. the logo at the top has the white behind it becuase you couldnt take it out.. if you using Photoshop save as a gif and preserve transparency..you can also do it in fireworks

That's certainly better than my first attempt. However, yes, listen to the previous posts. In the future, try to establish a type of form that your images fit into, instead of letting your images act as the form.

Very bad design, I would advise getting a proper and good looking design. I agree with previous comments about images, and that I have quite a high screen resoloution and the bg picture just tiles and looks rubbish, replace it with a white backgroud. The pictures look terrible! Also give your pages titles, a little thing but it makes a big difference! For instance all the picture pages have the title "Untitled" makes it look scrappy.

Please take all advice given to you from anyone and use it well!

The site is fine for a homepage style site. I suggest putting more content on and then do a complete design review. Instead of just coding why not try using a program like dreamweaver to help with the design.
