First let me start by introducing myself as some of you may not know me. My name is Chad Ross and I am the lead designer at EAS Design. I have come here to get some feedback on our site that has been in use to possible help conversion rates. Please leave detailed information and constructive criticism. I know most the people doing the reviews usually are pretty good about leaving detail but here is a sort of information that I am looking for.

When Reviewing please leave comment about:

Your System
Browser
Connection Speed
Processor Speed/ RAM

Speed
Site Load time

Navigation
How easy is it?
How does it follow?
Recommendations?

Hosting Page http://hosting.easdesign.com
Check out System? (not currently SSL, until payment of course would this stop you from putting in basic info)
Plan Layout, Comparison
Live Help is it easy enough to find?

Design http://design.easdesign.com
Portfolio, Recommendations?

Affiliate Program http://affiliate.easdesign.com
Index Page
Sign-up Page (should the sign-up page be converted to same style)

Any Additional Feedback is greatly appreciated. We are getting ready to launch sizable ad campaign and would like to increase conversion rates by a couple of percent.

All constructive feedback will be analyzed for implementation.

Thank you

Chad L Ross

Very high tech looking

My System Avertatec 3200 series laptop Athlon XP-m 2000+
Browser internet explorer
Connection Speed 56k modem
Processor Speed/ RAM 256 mb ultra fast

Your pages loaded just fine maybe about 5 to 10 secs.

Navigation no problem
How easy is it? found my way around with no problem
How does it follow? Just fine
Recommendations? The sound with the nav buttons is a bit much
lighting them up would be just fine.I find most sound on all sites annoying unless
its a warning or requested by me.
I'm usually watching tv listening to the radio or someone when online.

I would have a problem putting in a password for a domain if I tought it
was not secure.I trust paypal above all other means of payment so your
good there.

I did'nt see the minimum payout for affilliates just that it was low.

Have a Great Day

Well Hello There! How you doin'?

ok, ok, ok, my stooopid blonde female hackles ALWAYS go up when someone (even in real life) sais "you might not know me"...*grins*..
Im sorry!, I am over it, honest...ok, the first thing I did was chuck EAS Design into Google.com. It brought me to this :

http://www.score.org/success_eas.html, and the source code for that site was as follows (only conflicting stuff)..

<title>eas design</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
<meta name="keywords" content=", SCORE success story, eas design">
<base href="http://www.score.org/">.....

Then the front page statement of "—Libby Sturman, owner, eas design"

Now, all designs aside, Id be pretty concerned if I wasn't affiliated with this site!...just a thought!

When I then clicked into your site for evaluation, I admit, I love the "look"...Im a graphics junkie...then after a wee bit it started playing this really SCARY music! I'd kinda loose that for a clickable "play music" button. But, I would have to say, that personally, as a small time player, I would prob be impressed with your site.

1. Layout initially for me looked really impressive, but I did think, what if someone had recently got connected to the net, afterall, that would be a great target market for us all right?...I would find your site, (although graphically gorgeous) probably pretty confusing.

2. Everything required "is there", but perhaps kinda "too small" too see (and Im the queen of small fonts!) Some of your "explanation text" re "Anyone can host your site, at EAS Design ...." runs off my screen, (Im on Win XP Pro, 19Inch Monitor, 1280 * 1024)

3. I love the colours, and can "see through" the layout stuff, but if I were a client looking at your site, I think I would be a little confused as to "where to start"....all the inof seems very technical..."switch without any web site downtime" Im sorry, but I transfer DNS/hosting for clients all the time, and I would never talk like this to them down a phone...y'know?....I would probably say.....

"Ok, so you registered a domain, well done!...thats brill!...now what we'll sdo to transfer it ...."..y'know? I feel that althought very lovely in design, and layout, "lacks the human element".

I appreciate you are very much aimed at a larger market/site that I would be, but even so...all the little bits of business make us grander right?

My own business site, is not how I want it to look. I want to improve, get up there playing with the "big boys", but y'know?...the "bigs boys" sites are too impersonal, lack warmth, introduction and an "extended hand". I know many corporates might "appreciate " the look you have totally aquired, but those corporate guys are hellish to deal with!...*laughs*...

My eval would be as follows :

Graphic Design :: (colours, images etc, even thought Ive seen 'em before) 8.8/10 Like the flicker flash stuff, very pretty.
Layout/Navigation :: (ease of use for new users etc) 6/10 simply because everything was very small, and aimed at the "intelligent surfer market", rather than than new users. I wouldnt know as a client where or what I required/needed.

Personally, I think its a great site, but then Ive seen many like it, advertising the same thing, and have been impressed by them too!

I suppose Im a "small timer" I look at navigation in an easy manner, I just want folks to look down a list, see what they want and then click it!....

Cheers, and best of, scotia

HEy,...

you should redo the icons for the hosting (http://hosting.easdesign.com/images/check.gif) they are not as clean as the rest of the site!

This button: http://hosting.easdesign.com/images/3-up-1.jpg looks kinda broken in Firefox under "support"! Check that!

Your "terms of use" have a really bad quality! Try to fix that....it looks unprofessional!

OK,...that´s it for this time: JAB

Thank you for you comments thus. The Sound from the buttons will be removed.

Jab you said the Terms of Use Have a reall bad qualilty? You mean the look? We wrote in plain english what we wanted and our lawyer changed it for us.
We are going to be changed the up images to the the ones like the first page and just type in text. Perhaps I will look at other <check marks>
Thank you for you input!

Scotia Thank you for your insight. The information you provided will be very useful to us. Are target market is the smaller business. We have been struggling with what to do on the front page. As we offer several elements to our site, the front page used to be a choice, web hosting or web design. Due to the nature of search engine etc etc we decided to go with an entire page layout. Now we are faced with the problem of not enough space. Perhaps in the top left box we can put a link to take our browsers to a simplified baby-step process. Or a page with larger fonts. Thank you so much for you input. Also the score.org article is about www.easdesign.net. We should take over the #1 spot for Eas Design in the next month

Only music should be from the intro. Please let me know if there is audio somewhere else.

Debspicks Thanks for your input about the audio over buttons and thank you for your review. We are going to make adjustments to remove the audio

Your site looks amazing. Nice color theme, all uniform. Flash header is cool too. I guess I dont have much to say since the site is nice already and you definitely know what you are doing. ^_^

The speed was a little slow for me but when one page loaded the rest came fast

The navigation is easy and simple nice for people who dont really use computers. I like everything else including the deisign. The color theme is nice
