I am going to do an in depth review ok... It is in two posts (due to character size allowance).
Part 1 - Graphics:
1) The banner is too pixelated.
a) If you want to attract more visitors have a clean-cut, eye candy etc banner. This usually involves only three colours (four at the maximum) excluding colours as a result of a gradient.
b) Gradients, as in this case are usually over done. Make sure there is only subtle gradient (d.blue to l.blue).
c) Move the chevron (the curve) to the other side of the text.
d) Don't add shadows to every piece of text on your banner. Make the main title have a shadow of 3px, x-index 2px, y-index 2px. And get rid of the shadow on the slogan, make it italic, get rid of the bold, and add a slight blue glow.
e) You have gone overboard on making the text in it beveled. Remove the bevel and it will look even better.
2) The menu's are needing a revamp.
a) Try making the buttons a darker colour. Even add a rollover image.
b) Use a script where when you rollover each link, a list drops down with more options (instead of having multiple menus).
c) On the vertical menu, there are two spare cells at the bottom, remove them.
3) The menu on the left; keep all of the cells the same colour. They will be easier to read that way.
4) The sell my car, sell my stuf etc images are pixelated yet again.
a) The problem with jpg's is that they can become pixelated very easily. USe png or 24-bit gifs instead.
b) The images you have selected are fine. They look good.
5) The cell headers in the main content (the middle section) are ok as they are, but lighten the colour and make sure you have a title in every single one. Remember keep consistency.
6) The links on the left hand side are very annoying. Keep them all the same colour. Change the text-size to 10pt (size 2). Also, make sure there is only a legible gap between each link section (don't put a gap through a link).
Part 2 - Text and links
1) The text in the main body is far too small. Remember keep consistency: keep all the text the same size.
a) Make all the text black or any other legible colour, grey doesn't help and it is somewhat hard to read.
b) Make sure all the text-links are the same colour and size.
2) NEVER align all the text as centralised. It puts visitors off as it can be harder to read.
3) Structure: you need to make sure your content is in order. The most important to the least. At the moment it is just higeldy pigeldy.
4) Footers should only contain minimal content:
a) Copyright information.
b) Disclaimer & policy.
c) Terms and conditions.
d) A small & quick menu.
