I'm not sure if it would be allowable, but it would be really neat to be able to download one of the actual video clips from the show, say in maybe mpeg format. I think it would be a lot more mesmerizing than the gifs. I bet a lot of people, like me, have never seen this type of thing and would like to view it. Just had a thought...wonder if you could use the power of suggestion to get visitors to return to a site

Answer: www.hypnotized.tv is a place to let people see a stage hypnosis show,their are only 20 stage that have a hypnosis site and I am sure that my site the worlds largest collection of stage hypnosis video clips...if not it will when i finish :-)

I do 200 shows in a six month period from may until october in winter I am on the computer editing my hypnosis clips so I can find the best part of the show to show on the internet

I have purchased a D8 video camera for $950 and hope I can go to a full 3 ccd chip later.

I also buy new tapes every show which cost me $7 each I have also purchased a few good authoring programs Pinnicle pro and ulead video 6.

It takes me one hour to edit just one video clip it also takes me 15mins to upload a clip (loggin and starting the computer)

So as you can see I have already spent quite a few $$$$$$$

Any how here is a sample stage hypnosis clip (save target as) http://www.hypnotizedtv.co.uk/mickjager-p1.mpg its about a man who has to look like mick jagger under hypnosis.

File size 1mb mpeg it should work with quicktime and windows media player it should take 1-2min to download with a 56k modem

Right click and save it to your desktop and tell me what you think

I will be uploading over 100 video clips to the hypnotized.tv website it works out about 200mbs in files I will have to charge a small access fee to that part of the site,becuase the bandwith cost can cost thousands of $$$$$

I will be releasing a few sample clips on my site and when I want to promote it more I will anounce a few on some forums..

also I have just tried yahoo video mailer software which lets you send video clips to people,it says you should use the avi format but i uploaded a mpeg file and it looked better..

I have just sent out a free clip to people who have sign up to here more about the hypnotized.tv website

infact if you sign up to the mailing list can download 5 free video clips that are in mpeg format..

I put the gifs on my site so people can see what things people do...

If you have an idea of what price I should charge for a 30 day access then I would love to here it,any suggestion would be greatly recieved

Thanks for the vid. That's quite entertaining. Looks like you've got all the equipment you need. I'm not sure about the pricing, but if you plan on getting lots of visitors, you could offer some services free and try to make profits on affiliates or advertising.

The hypnosis video is really cool, ever thought of adding magic to your videos? It would be interesting. With a good enough design i think you will get loads of $$$ for all youve spent.

Answer: The problem with having lots of visitors is that it will cost me more money in bandwith fees unlike television where everybody see the shows on a channel and its the same fee to air it..

Also making profits on affiliates or advertising is not possible as I must have thousands of visiters and thats the catch,more visiters more it cost me to show video clips

I was thinking of selling vcds and dvds of whole shows but the price for this is still too high, maybe in a few years

I have a thought on the second part. I would rather see static pic in this case, I think. You might use jpegs with more colors instead of gifs, too. I like using small or optimized jpeg format to display photos.

You have lost me here, I was asking which start page did you like best
The one with all images or the one with writing and a few images

I was thinking that I should have a full page of people hypnotized and then have an image map that leads to my video clips....

I just want the site to be about hypnosis video clips I will be selling vcds from the show for small fees..

I do agree that jpgs are better than gifs

I think the white is much cleaner. The questions will get the visitors attention immediately too. I don't think it's asking too much to download a 1 mb clip, especially since the viewers will have a good idea of what they are getting based on the static pictures.

I dont want to scare people away and I dont wont to go broke cos I am giving it all away for free Heck if aol and other company`s have to charge just to make a profit on the web

Then I must too it sucks but that the only way people are going to see unique content..

I will put some video clips on my site that people can download but the rest will have to be in the members section,,,

I calculated that I can only have 100 people downloading 100 clips a month before I exceed my bandwith quote..

If All goes well then I will pay for more space and bandwith..

I will have to see how it goes
