With the soldiers fighting for there lives in Iraq day to day, they will be home for the new year to find there Regiment AXED!!

I thought the website had a really good design. Good intro page (Although maybe make the theme slightly more consistant instead of jumping from solid white to solid black.

PLEASE allow the ability to turn off the music. I actually really enjoyed the music for the first 5 seconds, I thought it really did add to the website, even though I think 99% of the time music does not add to the website. After the first 5 seconds I wanted to browse your site longer while watching TV, but after looking for the sound off button for another 5 seconds i had to give up and press the back button.

I did notice in those 5 seconds that the top graphic was very nice, and that the rest of the layout was pretty good. Maybe avoid frames and use templates and multiple static html files?

Hello

Your site was starting to make me feel closterphobic. Everything seems a bit too compact. I would lose the frames as mentioned, and spread things out to 750 pixels or 90+%. Just my opinion of course.

Okay, I had a few things I found...

which is being marked for ending when the Scottish Regiments are apparently to be amalgamated after the turn of the year.
This just doesn't read right...I'm not sure exactly how to fix it right now but give me time and I will come up with a way.

The Regiment is currently on active duty in Iraq and face an uncertain future on there return.

And then I got nosy and looked for your history of the Black Watch Regiment...don't EVER tell a researcher that you can't find something, LOL. One of my hobbies is genealogical research and I have all kinds of connections and ways around stuff.

So my first thought was *who would *I* ask if I wanted to actually ASK a question?* There aren't many search engines that allow that except for www.askjeeves.com

So I typed in: Where can I find a history of the "Black Watch Regiment" of Scotland?

And got this: http://tinyurl.com/5j4ku

Here are two of the entries:

Black Watch Photo Archive
The first Scottish Regiment to wear the kilt has produced a new illustrated book on its 260-year history, containing many photographs from its archives. The Black Watch regiment was formed in 1740 - five years before the Jacobite Uprising of Bonnie Prince Charlie. The earliest photograph of the regiment was taken in 1852 when they were in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Black Watch stopped the traffic in Washington in the days of President Kennedy when they played on the lawn of the White House. A few weeks later the Pipe Major and eight pipers led the President's funeral cortège to Washington Cathedral. The book of Black Watch history and photographs is available from the Regimental HQ at Balhousie Castle, Perth PH1 5HR.
Btw, good looking site as far as the graphics and layout. And I hope you are successful. I would hate for the Regiment to go under. Liz

The frames really do need to go and the music becomes very irritating after a short period of time, installing a mute sound button would be advantageous. I did enjoy your site apart from this. Keep up the good work.
