What do you think? What could I do better? As far as SEO, what can I do better?

I tried to stay away from graphics as much as possible, because I want the page to load lightening fast.

Yes this is a dmoz clone, but there is alot of other content that is mine, including my own web directory. I fully intend on removing dmoz as soon as my own directory has enough content to be worthy of the spotlight. It is not currently there. Don't be nasty about the dmoz clone.

Do you think the advertiser links at the top of the page are going to hurt my rankings?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, its been a while since I requested reviews and I have had no one reply. That could be for only 2 reasons. My site is really good, or its really bad. If its really bad, I would like come input on how to make it better. Constructive criticism is welcome.

It looks kind of boring, just a lot of text on a page. However I think the content is good and with a little splash of color it will look a lot more attractive =)

I completly agree with givemeplain. It looks like one of those pages that show up when you've mistyped a URL. It looks really boring. You should do some serious thinking about how you want it to look. I think each category could be a little different but all very similar, say borders around every other one with some subtle changes. It seems really dull currently.

No header or logo, the font size needs to be the same, an introduction is needed, better table layout too, maybe alittle eye candy, good luck.

it looks like an unwanted popup ad. Consider complete redesign

Well i see the meaning of your site but its very plain and all of those links on top and especially the bottom links show us that your website is there solely to generate revenue from ads. You need to have images, some content, even some contrast in the site will attract visitors instead of turning them away.

Your site looks too much like yahoo. I would consider a graphic element to separate it from the rest of the search engines, etc.
